Cultivating The Future (CTF) is a youth centred majorette programme, focusing specifically on girl-children of school going age. CTF was started by two, young black female coaches, Lerato and Palesa Chele who envisioned creating a safe space for young South African children to access skills, mentorship and coaching whilst promoting cognitive, emotional and psychological growth.

CTF has two teams consisting of primary and high school athletes who will be participating in the national Championships in Cape Town from 22 – 29 September. CTF NAVY has 22 provincial athletes, 12 National athletes and 7 Protea athletes.
